Chest Refinished in Minwax Red Mahogany

Chest Minwax 5

As you already know, I paint LOTS of furniture but today I wanted to share a chest that I refinished recently.  I spent a solid week completely stripping, sanding and refinishing it with Minwax Red Mahogany.  It turned out beautiful and was so worth all the hard work I put into it.

I posted a while back about stripping furniture here.  I’ve been thinking about doing an ebook on stripping furniture for awhile now.  So I took lots of pictures of the process and I hope to have it available soon.  Whoop!  Whoop!

Beth, you are amazing! I look at your site all the time for inspiration, I can’t believe how beautiful this piece is. By the way, I had my first Annie Sloan chalk painting class tonight. Looking at your work gives me hope.
