Painted Pub Table and Saddle Stools

Hello friends and happy Tuesday to you.  Today I have a throwback project from last summer from you.  Because while I like to keep things current I also like to dig into my hard-drive and look at past projects that I’ve enjoyed.  So let’s check out this transformation.

Painted Pub Table

Have I told you guys what a GREAT picker my mother-in-love is?  Well if I haven’t I should’ve.  She finds the greatest things in the strangest places.  She scored not one but two of these pub tables with stools for me.  They were pretty wiggly so I had to glue and clamp them but other than that all they needed was a new look.

I choose outdoor latex paint for the first one because my buyer wanted to use it on her outdoor porch.  She choose a pale green with a little distressing.

For the second one my buyer wanted a distressed black, one of my favorite looks I might add.  I used Sherwin Williams Tricorn black for it.  This is one of the truest black paints I’ve been able to find and I’ve used it on many pieces since.

I’m not only thrilled with how these two sets turned out, I’m thrilled that I sold them.  I love what I do and in order to keep going not only do things have to come into the barn…they have to go back out!

Big shout out and thanks to my mother-in-love for always bringing me cool stuff!
