Shabby Chic Vintage Bed

Hi everyone!  September?  How is that even possible?  They say the older you get the faster time flies and I’ve gotta say that couldn’t be more true.

Today I wanted to share some photos of a bed I painted with flat white latex paint some time ago.  As you well know I use all kinds of paints.  In this case the finish topcoat on this bed was worn off on most of it so latex paint bonded just fine.  I did do a little sanding in a few areas as well.

This one of my favorite bed transformations to date.  I had lots of fun setting it all up under a big ole oak tree on our farm when it was all finished for a “photo shoot” too.

I distressed it fairly heavily.  I wanted it to be a totally shabby chic vintage bed.
