A View of the Shop

I thought I’d share a few photos of the shop today.  I know some of you aren’t in Tennessee so you may not get to see it in person but have followed me for several years so this post is for you.  The photo above is of me when we opened in 2015.  I guess you could say it’s also a photo of my pickin’ and junkin’ buddy Kathy of Petticoat Junktion.  Would you believe this is the only photo I have of myself in front of the shop.  It’s been full speed ahead since opening so there hasn’t been time to take another photo.

First Look

This is the current display when you walk in the front door.  We just got all these cool metal letters and it’s been fun using them all around the shop.  The croquet set is something I love too.   I remember playing with one at my grandparents house when I was a kid.

{Sidenote if you see something you’d like to purchase we also have an online shop or you can just send us an email and we’ll get you fixed up.}

I’m a sucker for a little red wagon.  I picked this one up on one of my pickin trips with my daughter.  It’s too cute!

The other day I thought I’d try my hand at making a wreath.  I was inspired by my friend Sonya of At Home with the Barkers. Take a plain grapevine wreath and add moss, a little nest and a letter and there you go.  I think it turned out pretty good for a first try.

And of course we have cotton.  Lots and lots of cotton!

And burlap table cloths.

We just got these little moss balls.  I absolutely love them as they add a great pop of fun green and make me think of spring.

How cute are these nest sale cellars.   They have a little bird on top.  LOVE!

Everyone needs this “EAT” sign in their kitchen.

And of course we have all our candles in stock.  You can view the scents and order here.

I haven’t shared anything about our candle line yet.  We started it this fall and have several vendors across the country.  I love burning candles but hate the chemicals and soot.  So I decided to start a candle line myself and BAM! Farm Fresh Candle Co was born.  All the scents smell divine and are all natural, 100% soy with no YUCK!

That’s all the time I have for today.  I hope you’ve enjoyed this little view of the shop.  Have a fantastic day!

  1. Wow Beth!! I’m so happy for you! You have really come a long way. I’m just going to have to make a trip to see everything in person. I want one of everything! I did see this leather necklace with feather charms for $28.95, but it is out of stock. Will you be getting more in?

I’ll be back to order some things, but I was so excited to see all you have accomplished, I had to drop you a line! You are “ahmazzing”.

    1. Hey Sally,

Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s been an amazing journey filled with more work than I ever thought I could do. I am blessed to be able to do what I love.

As far as the necklace that one is sold out and I don’t think it’ll be restocked. I was just ab out to remove it from inventory. I’ll let you know if I do happen to get one back in stock.

      Thank you friend,
      Beth

  2. Just found your blog from a google search of General Finishes. I’m currently finishing up staining my kitchen with Antique Walnut. I love your store! I go to TN occasionally and would love to stop by sometime.

    1. Hi Sarah,

      🙂 Beth
