City Farmhouse Pop Up Barn Show, A Recap
This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Laura of The Ironstone Nest at the City Farmhouse Pop up Barn show in Franklin TN. It was so much fun to meet someone else that loves milk paint like I do and knows so much about using it.
I thought I would share a few pictures of the show with you in case you missed it.
I love all the little details that went into to it. From the pumpkins to the amazing venue it was breath-taking.
The weather was also beautiful, a little warm but beautiful.
Hubby even got to go with me and check things out on Friday. He and I were in awe of this amazing barn.
We’ve got some plans for our barn and some new ideas for things in the years to come and this amazing space just encouraged us to keep dreaming and planning.
I can’t even to begin to explain the amount of fabulous treasures that were available.
There were new hand made items as well as
my favorite good ole chippy vintage items.
I fell in love with this vanity. It’s handmade from salvage parts. I love when people use their imaginations and turn something unusable into something unique and fun.
From the milk painted pieces to the lavender Laura’s booth was incredible. She really pays attention to detail and loves her customers.
She had lots of hand painted signs. I’m going to try and create one of these this week for a client of mine. Isn’t it wonderful!
And I love the idea of using old book pages for banners. I’ll definitely be making some of these soon.
She and I have decided we’re going to start a milk paint revolution. Thanks to all of you that came out and bought paint. I was blown away at the response and I can’t wait until next month when the store opens and I can meet more of you.
I do regret not buying this little Tonka truck. It was too cute.
The perfect color if you ask me.
I also got to meet Linda of Coastal Charm. She was so great to talk to. We made plans to hang out at Haven. I can hardly wait!
I hope you enjoyed this little recap and photo overload.
Big thanks to my daughter and photographer extraordinaire for all of these amazing photos. Her talent blows my mind. Stay tuned for a recap of the milk paint demo coming later this week.
