How I Fixed My Broken Annie Sloan Paint Brush with E6000 Glue

This my friends is not what you want to see when you take your Annie Sloan paint brush out to work on a project.

I love this brush.  It applies paint so seamlessly.  So when it fell apart I needed to fix it ASAP!  I’ve used E6000 glue on glass and other surfaces so I was sure it would work on wood.  And sure enough it did!

As you can see it’s good as new.  I’ve used it several times since and it’s held together beautifully.

  1. Don’t you love it when you can fix something rather than have to throw it away and replace it? E6000 should definitely be in any DIYer’s tool kit!

    1. Yes!!! Paula you are so right. E6000 is the best glue ever!

  2. Those brushes are expensive, so glad you were able to fix it!

  3. Just got my big Annie Sloan brush a couple of weeks ago! Lovin’ it! And I would be so sad if I found it in pieces. Good to know I have the fix with E6000 should it break.
    Thanks for sharing Beth!
