Miss Mustard Seed Lucketts Green Milk Painted Dresser
One of the most frequent questions I get is “do you have any dressers for sale?” So today I thought I’d showcase this Lucketts Green dresser that’s FOR SALE (details at the bottom of this post) and also use it to remind myself that I need to do a better job of advertising my pieces. Lucketts Green is one of my favorite Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint colors.
I bought this dresser from a client who’s kitchen I helped remodel. It was in great condition as far as the drawers and structure but needed refinishing or painting. I decided to do a combo of both…cause that’s how I roll. I first sanded the top with my trusty skil sander.
Isn’t this wood beautiful!
Then I used Minwax Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner and
and General Finishes Java Gel Stain. I LURVE these products and the results I get with them.
Once the top was complete I started the process of painting. I’ve done several posts on mixing and applying milk paint, you can see a couple here and here.
And here she is!!!! I think the contrast of the dark top and green body are simply beautiful. Won’t this be a great piece in any room?!
This hardware…..swoon!!!!!
If you’d like to purchase this dresser you can contact me at farmfreshvintagefinds@gmail.com. It is located at the farm just outside Fairview TN and is available local pickup only for $295. It measures 22″deep by 47 1/2″ wide by 35″ tall. If you’d like to see any of the other pieces I have for sale click here.
Thanks friends! Happy weekend to you!!!

Your dresser turned out great! I love the green, it looks great against the dark wood and original hardware.
